In the late 80’s and early 90’s, sports card collecting was at its peak. And like many still in the hobby today, that’s when my son and I got involved. We started with tables at the local mall and expo center, then branched out to set up tables at shows in Tampa and South Florida.
What we made we usually just turned around and spent to grow our collections. More importantly, it was a great time doing something honest and educational together.
The hobby has had its share of ups and downs since then. But now with sports card collecting experiencing a mini-renaissance, we thought it was a good time to start promoting and encouraging attendance at Orlando Area Card Shows. We hope you’ll stop by and bring a friend or family member, and we hope you’ll have as much fun as we did – and still do!
Happy Collecting!John Mitchell
